Wolfbee Training offers live fire training to discerning firearms enthusiasts in the Chicagoland area.
We treat firearms like an art, a craft to be learned and practiced by expert craftsmen. We work to develop the virtues of shooting, building repeatable habits that will serve you well in any situation.
Live Fire Classes
At Wolfbee, we focus on live fire training to give people the skills they need to confidently carry a gun. We offer a variety of live fire classes, from defensive pistols for those wanting to get better at drawing from concealment, to intro to red dot, to multi-target, to cognitive processing classes.
Our classes are four hours long, and are completely focused on student shooting time. These aren’t classes where you watch the instructor shoot or have to wait for your turn. Students get hundreds of reps in in a given class and shoot 300-400 rounds.

How We Train
Just like you can’t build virtue without practicing virtuous activity, you can’t get better at shooting theoretically. Whether it is live fire, dry fire, or hands on simulations, getting better with firearms requires time on your gun. Our classes are designed to get you better within the span of the class
We provide training that build habits for every day situations, not absurd hypotheticals or combat situations. We aren’t looking to force a new fad or resurrect an ancient technique. Our goal is building solid fundamentals that give you confidence in your ability to defend yourself and your loved ones.
Our Provenance
Landon, the lead instructor at Wolfbee has been shooting for over 25 years and concealed carrying every day for over six years.
Wolfbee Training takes its name from the mythical Wolfbee, a creature that matches the ferocity and tenacity of the wolf with the endurance and virtue of the bee.
At Wolfbee, we are here to help regular people learn to shoot well. Whether you are new to firearms or looking to hone your skills, we can match our training to your needs.
We aren’t law enforcement, military, or private security. We are regular folks looking to teach other shooters how to shoot better.
